We found him in a McDonald’s parking lot with a McFlurry lid around his neck and my 2 year old sister suggested McFlurry. We call him Flurry for short though
I’m not sure what it’s called, buy I love the trope of where a large party gets split off into two smaller parties who eventually reunite. This split could be forced through physical events or it could just be a relationship split between friends.
Lord the Rings is a great example of what I mean. Frodo is forced to leave after seeing what the Ring does and Sam goes with him, while Mary and Pippin get kidnapped and have their own adventure, and finally Aragorn and his merry trio go help the war effort in Rohan. They all end up reunited in the end though.
I’d kill to be able to help teach my peers just once. Department politics have been a blight on clubs though
I’m Vice President of a computer science club for my Community College and i feel this exact same issue. The people above me run it like it’s a training center for a job. There’s no aspect behind it besides business and business connections. It’s something i desperately wish i could change
Genuinely love that feature on my PS3 controller just so I can’t put the wrong buttons in whenever I’m doing in maintenance
Most excellent church to be part of imo
One my favorite ways to summarize this kind of thinking is with the Bill & Ted quote “Be Excellent To Each Other, and Party On Dudes” (mostly the first half applies to this post though). The part that applies to this post, Keanu Reeves said he interprets as follows:
I think that the sentiment of it is really just be the best person, the best human being you can be, and if you do that, then you can party on and live life to the fullest, but you’re gonna be safe… You’re going to be supported, you’re going to get the gift of giving, you’re going to get the gift of receiving, you’re going to get to the gift of sharing. We’re all just some humans on a rock in space, and so it’s kinda nice to kind of promote that idea of ‘give a little, get a lot’, kind of bring it in for a group hug."
If you use CFW you can toggle it on in games that don’t natively use it too. I have it toggled down specifically for Omega Ruby purely because otherwise it stutters when an attack goes
Fuck it, 30 second sketch too.
I daily drive it right now on my gaming rig. It’s fairly stable, it has a few issues though like display color tweaking out upon waking up out of sleep or Bluetooth just straight up deciding it’s done for the session and forcing me to reboot.
Sadly I’ve tried googling the answers to the online assignments and idk if they’re too new or what but I can’t find them anywhere
Right now specifically? I have it out for Pearson. I bought a eTextbook from them that I need for a data structures class because of the bs online assignments. I only need it for a semester, had to pay $120 for a whole year.
The built in Java IDE? Completely busted. Returns the same failed to compile error for every single assignment. I even went and tested it in IntelliJ to make sure it works. It’s not my code. It’s a problem with Pearson’s IDE.
Then, I raise the issue to tech support, only, tech support is just an AI that goes through the usual “Clear Cookies, try a different web browser”. Finally it says it will “raise it higher” since none of those things worked. I’m gonna have to be higher after dealing with this BS. Anyways, right now they’re high up on my personal shit list since they took my money and can’t even deliver a functional product
Makes me smile to see people recognizing me outside of my Screenshot posts. I didn’t realize that I was known outside of the gaming community I post in though lol
Thank you for sharing, I’m saving this to try for later. I don’t usually have an issue with Kale. But this sounds to good to pass up
He’s very soft lol. If you can convince him to come over to you he’ll let you bury your hand in his fluff
California here. We’re being raided by fires right now
It’s hard for me to do that too. I found setting regular reminders for it on my phone helped, at least once I get over that initial hump of forming a pattern, then it just becomes a simple “oh. Today’s my day to run laundry”. Of course, if I break that habit it becomes hard again, but it does help a lot. But also I’m no psychologist, so for all I know it could be a case by case basis
The 2 year old was very insistent on it after we found him as a kitten with a McFlurry lid around his neck. Everyone calls him Flurry for short though
